Louisville Diving Review

Scuba School International offers free online training for the academic portion of the Diving Certification. This option is available through their website, http://www.divessi.com/online. Once the academic portion of the training is completed,  you are able to put your knowledge to the test in the pool training. This is available through local Scuba Diving Schools. Might I remind you that Paradise Divers is the only local school with a pool on-site. If you are certified through another school you will have to transport the gear. After the pool training then you will complete the third step of the training that consists of the open water section. According to SSI the open water portion has to be 4 open water dives. They define an open water dive as an open body of water.

If you continue your Scuba education and decide to get certified after the academic portion of the training, you will then pay for your next steps in the process. With the class you will purchase equipment that you will use in the second and third portions of the training. SSI recommends that you purchase the  equipment from the school. This ensures that the equipment is guaranteed.
