Louisville Diving Review

The majority of the local diving schools in Louisville, Kentucky do not have an on-site pool. This means that when you are completing your certification you must travel elsewhere with the gear to finish the ‘in the water’ portion. The only school in Louisville, Kentucky that offers a pool on site is Paradise Divers. The pool is connected to the gear room and store and ranges in depth from 3.5 feet to 10 feet. This allows for direct concept application during diving certification.  Other dive schools in the local area must coordinate class time schedules with public/private pools outside of the classroom. The nearest on-site pools that have been found are in Florence, Kentucky and Somerset, Kentucky. Florence is approximately 85 miles away and Somerset is approximately 130 miles away from Louisville, Kentucky.
